Repertoire

The piano-repertoire is so incredibly rich that pianists are surely the most spoiled of all musicians from this point of view.

There is always another new piece to learn...

Besides the listed concertos, others are constantly under preparation to be ready to perform.

For solo-recital programs, my repertoire contains major works and curiosities from baroque – classical – romantic – 20th century composers. Each concert is a special occasion to think about an original program and it is always a pleasure to discuss it with the organizer. For this particular reason, I think it would not be very useful to give a long detailed list of Sonatas, Fantasies, Etudes, concert-pieces etc.

Of course, because of my origins, it is very important for me to keep speaking the wonderful language of Hungarian music, with its composers such as Liszt, Bartók, and Kodály. These works are the basics in my current solo repertoire.

Chamber music is also a major part of my work. It is wonderful to share musical experience with other musicians. To me, this is the ultimate form of communication between people. I have played almost every possible chamber-formation with piano – duos, trios, quartets, quintets – with all kinds of different instruments, and music from many different composers.
